Vanguard Fixings Ltd was founded in Southampton in 1969, initially trading from the boot of a car! The company provided a local service to builders, electricians and plumbers from its premises on Onslow Road, and re-located to larger premises on Empress Road in the late 1990s. Following a rescue take-over by The ONE Group in 2003, the company's finances were stabilised and the company began to flourish again, expanding the product range and customer base. Vanguard Fixings' reputation for flexibility and reliability is founded upon a close working relationship with suppliers and customers. Today the company provides a next day delivery service of a wide range of fixings, fasteners and tools for the building and services industry to all parts of the UK and Ireland. It also offers a trade counter where pre-ordered goods can be collected & orders made up while-you -wait.
